Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration in Canada

Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the widely celebrated festivals in India and people of every religion, cast and creed celebrate this festival without differences. The festival goes till 10 days and as per Hindu calendar it is celebrated in August or September.

As per myths, Ganesh Chaturthi celebration was being started as a public event by the founder of the Maratha Dynasty Shivaji (1630-1680) in Pune.
